It is my favorite time of year at Sephora! The makeup wonderland becomes even more magical at Christmastime with their Sephora Favorites sets, stocking stuffers, and brand-specific holiday sets. Be careful walking in there unless you're looking to walk out with $500-worth of makeup.
Or perhaps you are not the beauty lover in your household, but somebody else is? You've come to the right place: my 2015 Sephora Holiday Gift Guide. We're all on a budget here, so my goal is to offer you ten amazing gifts under $50 for the beauty lover in your life (or for your wish list!) PLUS stocking stuffer deals under $10.
(psst.. don't forget to sign up for Ebates before you go shopping online! You can currently get 8% cash back at Sephora, and that's only one of many, many popular online stores that offer cash back with Ebates!)
NARS is just doing it, really getting it right, over and over again. This gorg lipstick set has a beautiful range of neutral and bold shades. NARS lipsticks are also super creamy and comfortable. Be warned these are mini lipsticks, not full-sizes.
If you're like me, or every makeup-wearing woman on the planet, you're usually searching for the perfect mascara: that holy grail, perfect formula to make your lashes look magically thick, long, and curly. But the struggle is long and it is real. Enter: Sephora Favorites Lashstash, a set of eight fabulous mascaras PLUS lash fibers, an eyeliner, and lash curler. What more could you want? True story, I buy this every year. Heaven.
There is little as fun and flirty as an adorable makeup bag. Sephora Collection regularly carries their Breakups to Makeup bags, but they've got two special ones for the holidays. Fill one with a few beauty treats and you've got a perfect gift!
Smashbox is known for their amazing and iconic primers. I use Photo Finish Light myself, and it's aces. Their super-affordable Try It Kit comes with the original formula Photo Finish foundation primer, Hydrating Under Eye Primer (love this!), Photo Finish 24-Hour Shadow Primer, and their new Primer Water, which can be used as primer and also to set your makeup.
If you or anyone you know is even remotely into contouring and highlighting, this is the palette for them. Kat Von D makes incredibly high-quality makeup and this palette is flying off the shelves! If you have a few extra bucks, throw in the Shade + Light Contour Brush, too ($36).
For the skincare fanatic who loves the magic of overnight skincare, Sephora has put together a set of four nighttime skincare products from their favorite lines. The set contains the Korres Wild Rose + Vitamin C Advanced Brightening Sleeping Facial, Origins High Potency Night-A-Mins Mineral-Enriched Renewal Cream, Ole Henriksen Invigorating Night Treatment, and the Sunday Riley Luna Sleeping Night Oil.
Jaclyn Hill is one of my favorite (and one of my first) YouTube makeup artists, and she's obsessed with highlighting. She created this gorg highlighter with Becca, who in my opinion is an authority on highlighters. And believe me, this is beautiful on all skin tones — I thought it would be to warm and peachy on me, but it's so amazing!
I love these skincare sets because, honestly, who can afford to try all of these products? Skincare is expensive! For the mask-lover in your life, Sephora has made a set of six masks and treatments for your pampering pleasure. It includes Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask To Clear Pores, Boscia Luminizing Black Mask, Erborian Pâte au Ginseng Black Concentrated Mask, GlamGlow YOUTHMUD Tinglexfoliate Treatment, Peter Thomas Roth Irish Moor Mud Purifying Black Mask (adore PTR), and Algenist Algae Brightening Mask.
Sheet masks are my current skincare favorite, and Sephora makes it easy with a wide variety of sheet masks for every skin woe. At $6, these are a completely affordable stocking stuffer that any beauty lover would adore! Use code MASKLOVE to get 5 masks for $24.
Oily skin is not the only skin type prone to needing a little blot throughout the day. I get a little shiny under the lights at the salon, and these blotting papers do the trick to mattify! At $6 for 100 papers, these make a fantastic stocking stuffer, and the invigorating peppermint scent will perk you (or your loved one) up throughout the day!
I think these little pots of nail polish are so stinking adorable and they come in so many colors! I love this quirky green, but they also have some really amazing pots of glitter colors or other colors with multi-sized flecks. Were I talented in any way, I would own every color and be wearing them all the time. At $8 a pop they're perfect for a stocking stuffer.
Use these portable wipes loaded with nail polish remover to take off that Ciate nailpolish when you're ready. These are great for keeping in your purse to use when you get an unexpected chip, or a lot of unexpected chips (as you do). If you're like any of my coworkers you're removing & repainting your nails all the time at work (No? Just us?), so these are perfect. Bonus: they have a fantastic grapefruit smell!
Clinique has always been great where skincare is concerned, and I don't know a soul who doesn't suffer from dry skin in the winter time. This gift set has a cream-formula scrub and Clinique's iconic Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion. Whoever's stocking you fill with this set will have fantastic skin and will thank you for it.
Gone are the days when a plain black elastic will do the trick (except... that's all I use, and they TOTALLY do the trick). But if you want something stylish, Sephora makes ombre hair ties that will blow your little black hair ties out of the water. They're easy on your hair and cute to look at!
What's on your wish list this year?
